Virtuous networks for the territory
The project “Comune dei Popoli” was created thanks to the combination of skills and experiences of different Partners, linked to the Sicilian and national territory, which are already promoters of social innovation and good practices for inclusion, reception and active citizenship.
Municipality of Siracusa
The Municipality of Siracusa, as a leading partner, hosts the desk and takes care of ordinary maintenance of the space reserved for the centre “Comune dei popoli”. The Municipality collaborates for the administration of the project and takes part in work-tables for co-design and networking.

C.PIA Siracusa Alberto Manzi
The CPIA of Siracusa is a state-run educational institution that operates within the entire province of Siracusa through numerous service points, including prison locations, scattered throughout the territory. A reference point for the coordination and implementation of actions for adult population, in addition to raising levels of education, it also encourages the consolidation of key competences for lifelong learning and the certification of various training courses. The Institution carries out educational activities aimed at an Italian-speaking and foreign adult audience, with the purpose of creating a society based on social justice and collective well-being that progresses culturally.

AccoglieRete
Accoglierete was born in 2013 by a network of citizens and it is the first association of voluntary legal guardians for unaccompanied foreign minors operating in Italy. For years, it has been promoting and supporting the role of voluntary legal guardians; it implements projects for the protection and widespread reception of alone foreign children, supports measures for young adults and awareness-raising as well as training activities for a civil society in the field of migration. In recent years, it has been strongly committed to spread Social Guardianship.

Impact Hub Siracusa
Impact Hub Siracusa was born by a group of social innovators eager to create workplaces and meeting places, to which people who believe in the project have been added time-by-time: different professionals, with profiles ranging from international cooperation to microfinance, project management and event organisation. Today Impact Hub consists of a Social Promotion Association operating throughout Sicily, and a cooperative providing innovative services for social enterprises, high impact companies and development projects in the Mediterranean basin.

Fondazione di Solidarietà Marista Champagnat
The Marist community of Siracusa, direct expression of the Congregation of the Marist Brothers, spread in over 80 countries around the world, has been working in the Diocese of Siracusa since 2016, working in favour of migrants and animating the C.I.A.O. center in Siracusa, an intercultural space of help and orientation, designed especially for young immigrants and refugees living in and around Siracusa. It aims particularly at minors in first and second reception centres and at new adults, who wish to integrate on the territory. The centre wishes to offer services to help them in their process of adaptation and integration into Italian society.
