The activities of the project Comune dei Popoli related to the survey, analysis and systematization of needs, are designed to bring out and respond to the needs and difficulties of public and private social operators interfacing with foreign citizens. The aim is to build a service orientation desk for migrants living in the territory of Syracuse. To do so, the project partner Impact Hub Syracuse used a service design survey method that uses an interdisciplinary approach to design. After the mapping of the services of the Municipality of Syracuse and other territorial institutions, the partner went ahead with the profiling of the partners involved by carrying out targeted interviews between operators and users. From the results that emerged in this phase, three key topics were extrapolated together with the subject of three discussion meetings, which took place partly at the Urban Center of Syracuse and partly in digital mode in accordance with the DPCM currently in force.

Main topics

• Dialogue between priorities: expectations in comparison;
• Words: vehicles in circle between people;
• People as a resource.

On the basis of the results that emerged during the three meetings at the discussion tables, the third phase, i.e. development, begins with a focus on the co-design seminar on Friday 11 December 2020.

ONLINE SEMINAR ON FRIDAY 11th DECEMBER FROM 10:00 TO 12:00 CET.

The co-design seminar will involve stakeholders, institutions and operators of the third sector and not, and representatives of migrant communities. The aim of the seminar is to contribute to the design of a system of integrated services for the benefit of operators and end users, a system that is able to respond and take into account the shortcomings and weaknesses that emerged during the discussion meetings and during the analysis phase.
